A Note from the Blogger

Hello my name is Jaycee Queen and welcome all to A Taste of Satori.  I send you my deepest love and gratitude for joining me on this exciting journey.  When you think about food do you get stressed about what to cook, how to cook it, getting the cooking right, getting the food out on time, if you are using the right spices, if you even have the right spices, the outcome, are my friends going to like it, am I going to like it, what if I get a stomach ache, I don't even have any medicine, can I afford a doctor?  So much thinking, you've missed the fact that you haven't even started cooking yet!  If this is you don't become discouraged, EVERYTHING IS OKAY. I'm here to keep you in touch with reality, you don't know what they are thinking or what you will be thinking once you take your first bite, with the realization that you have no control on the future except on what you are doing now should be a relief.  The focus of this blog is the will to remain at peace, focused on what you are doing and have fun.  Laugh when you burn the salmon and when you put too much vodka in your mix, you’re learning, along with me.  While reading, you will be provided with simple body awareness exercises to keep the mind still and your focus sharp.  Let this blog be your guide to keep you home.  Use the breathing exercise at the beginning to focus on your activities as you engage in them in case your mind wonders off and you lose focus.  This way, you can remain aware of what you are doing moment to moment.  Stay calm, open your heart, your mind, eyes, and spirit so that you too can get A Taste of Satori.
